Introducing Ida’s Musical Adventures: Exploring the World

Music has the power to connect us across cultures, languages, and experiences—and our newest offering, Ida’s Musical Adventures, brings that idea to life in a fresh and engaging way. This new series follows Ida Artis as she travels the world with her dad, musician Ron Artis II, sharing real-life stories, music, and cultural discoveries from the places they visit.

Through Ida’s perspective, students are invited to join along with curiosity and explore how music shapes communities around the globe. Each episode blends storytelling with diverse musical selections, helping young learners build cultural awareness, strengthen listening skills, and make meaningful personal connections to what they hear.

We’re kicking things off with Episode 1: Paris, France: “Practice Makes Better”, where Ida explores the vibrant Fête de la Musique – a citywide celebration of music – and reflects on an important mindset for all learners: practice makes better. It’s a simple but powerful reminder that growth comes from effort, exploration, and persistence.

Ida’s Musical Adventures is designed to be flexible and easy to use, whether as a classroom activity, a conversation starter, or a way to introduce new music and perspectives. We’re excited to share this first lesson with you and can’t wait to continue the journey – there’s a whole world of music ahead.
