4-5pm Pacific Time

Teacher boundaries and self-care are necessary to promote the well-being of the entire classroom. As a teacher, centering your well-being will support your own positive emotions, engagement, relationships, meaning, and achievement–and your overall health.

Join Dr. Giuliana Conti, Director of Education and Equity, and author Lesley Moffat for a free one-hour webinar on Teacher Well-Being. This presentation will include teacher challenges around mental health, self-care strategies, and recommendations for mental hygiene. Panelists will also discuss practical guidelines for improved health and sustainability in their teaching career. After the presentation, attendees will have the opportunity for a Q&A session with our panelists.

Lesley Moffat is a music educator, band director, speaker, and author of two books: “I Love My Job But It’s Killing Me” and “Love the Job, Lose the Stress: Successful Social and Emotional Learning in the Modern Music Classroom.”

Attendees will receive a handout and a certificate of completion for this one hour webinar. Ask your district about clock hour credits.

A recording will be made available after the session to all those who RSVP or are a member of Music Workshop’s Sounding Board Facebook Group.
