Professional Development with Music Workshop and Coty Raven Morris

Music Workshop, a nonprofit committed to creating culturally responsive music education resources, offers meaningful, well-being-centered professional development designed specifically for music educators. Whether you prefer to learn at your own pace or engage in a live, collaborative setting, Music Workshop has an opportunity for you.

Join us in person on October 11, 2025, for a transformative full-day workshop at Portland State University in Portland, Oregon. Led by Coty Raven Morris, Hinckley Visiting Assistant Professor of Music Education and Social Justice at PSU, and Dr. Giuliana Conti, Music Workshop’s Director of Professional Development, this event focuses on identity, belonging, and balance in the music classroom. You’ll earn 6 PD hours, enjoy lunch included, and walk away with actionable tools to better support both your students and yourself.
Early bird pricing is $60 through September 7th; $75 after.

Prefer learning on your own schedule? Music Workshop also offers online, self-paced PD courses featuring Coty Raven Morris. These courses dive deep into educator and student well-being, social emotional learning, and the importance of culturally responsive teaching in music education.
